Case study
Vela Flora From occasion and budget to a card with a personal message – a shop that helps people choose a gift
Vela Flora is a Gdańsk studio that creates everlasting bouquets, soy candles and gift sets and ships them across Poland. We built a shop with personalization, a gift finder and a custom-project path, plus a panel that shows the studio every day what needs its attention.

01Problem
A gift shop has a harder job than an ordinary catalog. Customers often don’t know where to start, want to add a personal message and see how it will look, or have their own idea that isn’t in the range. A cart alone can’t handle that – without dedicated paths, such orders end in back-and-forth messages and notes taken by hand. On top of that comes the everyday life of any shop: payments, shipping, stock levels, reviews and messages that are easy to miss when each of them lives in a different place.
02Solution
We designed the shop around the way people look for gifts. Collections have filters and sorting, and the “Znajdź mój prezent” (Find my gift) wizard asks about the occasion and budget and instantly shows matching products. Those who prefer to start with the occasion pick it from a list: birthday, anniversary, wedding, Mother’s Day and more.
On the product page, customers type a personal message and see a live preview of the card with their text. If they don’t know what to write, they can use suggested wishes. People with an idea of their own get a separate “projekt indywidualny” (custom project) path, and shorter questions reach the studio through “Zapytaj pracownię” (Ask the studio). On top of that: customer accounts with favorites, a newsletter and a gallery of past work.
The studio panel starts the day with an overview: paid sales, number of orders, average order value, new customers and a weekly sales chart. The “Warto zajrzeć” (Worth a look) list gathers everything that needs a response – unpaid orders, new custom projects, reviews awaiting moderation, low-stock products and message delivery errors. The studio gets notifications about new projects.
Every area has its own module: Orders, To prepare, Requests and projects, Live chat, Customers, Products, Content and pages, Photo library, Discount codes, Reviews, Messages and Archive. Several people can use the panel, each with their own account and the right role. Before sales start, the “Gotowość sklepu” (Shop readiness) checklist checks the catalog, company details and documents, e-mail, payment method and InPost.

05Style
Elegant and warm: a cream background, a deep burgundy accent and serif headings that suit handmade bouquets. The tone is personal – “Ręcznie. Z sercem.” (By hand. With heart.) – and the details are carefully crafted, from the card preview to the round “z miłości do detali” (out of love for detail) stamp.
